Mentors and Volunteers
Without our Mentors and Volunteers, there would not be a Skunkworks Robotics Team!

Mentors aid and support our students in the technical aspects of the competition, including robot design and building, programming, organization, graphic design and web development. Mentor involvement has created an outstanding learning environment. Students engage mentors in countless discussions on many subjects. Our mentors are as dedicated to the team as our students are.

Outside of Skunkworks Robotics, many of our mentors are electrical, design, mechanical and civil engineers. There are also mentors that have capabilities in carpentry, accounting and team management. Since our team is run like a business, there are many things the students have an opportunity to learn. Our team has several engineers who help with our electrical and programming teams, as well as mechanical engineers who assist with design and construction of the robot. Our mentors and volunteers also help build our practice field, supervise in the shop, assist students with project management and help to maintain our website.
