Our goals for our website are:
This website is intended to be a resource to many different audiences.
Our students can use the website to review
upcoming events, view team photos, check our
sub-teams' progress and our team history. Parents
on our team can see what their Skunks are doing
throughout the year. They also use the site
to understand what FIRST is and what
the team is all about. See Team page.
Sponsors, fondly called boosters, can use the
site to find information on the team and updates on our activities. See News page.
Alumni use the site to keep up on the team
and it's activities, because "once
a Skunk, always a Skunk!"
The Journal is a record of our team's history that incoming students can use to become familiar with our past teams and events.
We also have a build season blog, that is updated several times a week. This blog contains lots of information about our build process and activities. Visit Behind the Smell Blog.
We also use the website to share our experiences
and knowledge from current and past seasons
with other teams in FIRST. We allow
fellow teams to use our documents and the rest
of our site as a resource for their own teams.
View the Skunk
Zone for useful documents.
We inform our fellow students at our school
of what we are up to with calenders of upcoming events. View Events page.
This year we have also expanded to using the
photo sharing site BlueMelon and share with others
our experience in Skunkworks Robotics. View Photo Gallery.
Our website attracts over 500 unique visitors a month and that number continues to grow. We strive to keep our website, and Gallery pages, up to date.
